Houses are a deliberate game mechanic, in The Elder Scrolls Oblivion. Please keep in mind that, while there may be some alternate accommodation available, the game has a specific list of buildings that count as 'player houses'. Enlarges the interior of the buyable house in Cheydinhal. This one is the most personal of the mods I've made, since it actually came about when I dreamed of it. As soon as I dreamt of this beautiful four-bedroomed house I was looking around with the intention of buying, I woke up and knew I.

Cheydinhal House for Sale is a house for sale on the southwestern edge of Cheydinhal, across from the Cheydinhal Mages Guild.
The home can be purchased from Count Andel Indarys for 15,000 gold (if his disposition toward you is at least 60), and all upgrades can be purchased from Borba gra-Uzgash at Borba's Goods and Stores for varying prices. The house has vaulting ceilings and has two stories, with the upper hallway functioning as a sort of balcony overlooking the entryway below. There is a fireplace directly opposite the front door, and the stairs to the second level are to the left when entering the home. Before any upgrades are purchased, the house contains only a simple double bed in the bedroom upstairs and a table to the left of the front door.
The dining area upgrade adds two chairs and two table settings, including candles, to the table near the front door. It also adds a rug under the table, a set of shelves to the left of the fireplace (bearing assorted cups and a pot of flowers), and a basket next to the shelves. A small study area is created by the study area upgrade, which adds an open desk and a small round stool at foot of stairs. The desk bears an hourglass, some ink pots, and candles, and there is a round rug beneath the desk. Just behind the desk is a bookshelf and a basket. To finish off the first floor, the sitting area upgrade creates a cozy space around the fire, adding two chairs in front of fireplace and a bench to the right of the front door as you enter the house. The upgrade also places a small table to the right of fireplace and another next to the bench, with a pot of flowers. A rug and a barrel are also placed by the front door. The first floor is spruced up with the purchase of the lower wall hangings, which adds two paintings on north wall, a small painting above the fireplace, a tapestry and painting above the dining table, and another tapestry and painting at foot of the stairs, in the study area.
Upstairs, the storage area upgrade adds two chests, two crates, and three barrels stacked on top of the crates to the space right at the top of the stairs. For lighting, there are candles sitting on larger of the two crates. The area just behind the stairs on this floor becomes a food storage area with the kitchen area upgrade. Two cupboards, a table bearing utensils and a loaf of bread, a rug, and assorted dishes fill this space. The upper hall area upgrade frames the stone chimney on the second level with two tall bookshelves and a pair of candlesticks. A bench is situated between them, lit by two candle sconces on either side. Assorted pottery decorates the bookshelves. The bedroom area upgrade adds a rug beneath an upgraded bed in the bedroom, as well as a table at the foot of the bed bearing candles and some pottery. A dresser and a chest are also placed near the foot of the bed. The dressing area upgrade adds even more furnishings to the bedroom, including a cupboard, a dresser, a chair, and a set of shelves. Candles on the dresser light this end of the bedroom area, and another rug is placed on the floor. You can decorate the second floor with the upper wall hangings upgrade, which adds a large painting above the bench in the hall as well as two tapestries high up on the south wall. A tapestry is hung above the front door, and two paintings are added to the bedroom above the bed and the table at the foot of the bed.
