[Updated] Multifox doesn’t work anymore. Currently I’m using Firefox Multi-Account Containers, it’s work like a charm.

For whatever reasons you have in your mind, to open multiple accounts like Facebook or Gmail or any forums, which you cannot do that in just one browser. You have to open multi web browser like one in Firefox and the other in Google Chrome. Like i used to do. You cannot do it in one browser because that browser will store cookies on your browser and it will check it in another tabs or windows.

But there is a magic plugin for you to login to your multiple account in different tab in Firefox. Yes that’s why i love Firefox. You can login to Multiple account in multiple tabs on Firefox using Firefox plugin MultiFox.

Multifox Installation

  1. Go to Multifox homepahe and Install it. It need to restart your Firefox after installation.
  2. Here is the magic thing: Go to File and click on New Identity Profile. It will open a new tab or new windows.

This will open a new window of Firefox Browser. Make note of that 2 at the most right corner of the address bar.You will notice the identity number at your address bar.

Now you can login to your multiple account.

Even Multifox store cookies in different container, it seems cannot handle to use different connection. For example login to multiple account from different socks/proxy. So you still need to use another browser to do this.

Internet Explorer 8 lets you create a new session within a new browser window but how can I do the same with Firefox? I know if you switch user profiles then you can have two browsers in different sessions but I would like to have two sessions using the same user profile.

Sorry, that's not possible with Firefox. Firefox uses a single executable instance to run all windows and tabs, where IE starts another process for each window. Chrome uses a separate process for each tab (or window), which seems real nice until it sucks the life out of an older processor with the 'overhead' of all those separate processes.
Depending upon what you want a 'different session' for, there are 3 extensions that allow for multiple cookie sessions which allow for multiple, simultaneous logins to the same server. That works to allow the user to log into multiple webmail accounts at the same service provider. <br />

  • Is it possible to run 2 different Firefox versions using the same profile and still have browsing history saved? I used to be able to do that up until a week ago. What happened was I was using Firefox version 3.6.28(a very old version of Firefox) which I need to use sometimes and then the current version, 36.01. Earlier I would use both my versions of Firefox and the history would be saved if I used both versions but now when version 36.01 came out, its not saving for some reason. Is this a bug? The history is saving during the current session, but say I close out of Firefox and then go back to Firefox, it will still be saved but when I go to my old version of Firefox, the history is saved but then after I close out of that the history on my new current version is all gone and it starts me all fresh, is there a way to get rid of this so that the history will always be saved even if i switch between versions? I could do that before up until Firefox 35.01 but Firefox 36 isnt saving the history from the old version, is this a bug or not? Now I have to create a separate profile for each Firefox so the history I use on the old version is only saved on that version and the history I have on the new Firefox is another profile so that history from the 2nd profile remains but I dont want that. I want to be able to use the same profile so that the same browsing history can be saved using both versions like it was before, I hope people can understand my problem. If not I can further explain, thanks.

    @ the-edmeister, I understand that the 2 versions are completely different, however how come the history was saving fine when I switched between firefox 3.6.28 to the current one which was Firefox 32, 33, 34, 35 etc? Like I'm surprised how come now at Firefox 36 this problem started, Firefox 36 isnt that much different from Firefox 35 but yet Firefox 35 was still saving my browser history from the old 3.6.28 version, my 3.6.28 version never upgrades but the new Firefox keeps upgrading whenever there is a new release out automatically and then all of a sudden when the new version of 36.01 came out all my history was gone, so isnt Firefox 35.01 also very much different from 3.6.28 as much as 36.01 is? I hope you got what I meant, thank you for helping.

    I'm currently stuck within one of my implementation.
    I'm deploying the same solution worldwide which worked pretty well until now. All the items are connected to an item group, with a unique GL account, supposed to book at the same time the good receipt and the good issue (Balance-Sheet Account = 14xxxxx).
    My new unit is willing to use two different GL accounts when performing its stock entry (let say 14xxx10) and another GL account for the good issue, let say 14xxx20.
    Do you have any clue so i can please them and keep using at the same time the item group ?

    In fact, we use the GL account as the HQ Account (Reporting Account) while the 'Export Code' will be used to store the local GL Account (greek account).
    As such, we can, somehow handle two different chart of accounts.
    In my reporting, i'm only using a single GL account for stock movements, while my greek counterparts want to handle two different accounts.
    Threfore, i have only two solution since there is normally a one to one relationship between a HQ account and a local account that are :
    1 - Duplicate the HQ accounts
    In that case, i do respect anytime the one to one relationship. I've got one HQ account for one local account. But how can i put this since i can only handle one single stock account.
    2 - I keep my single stock account like this but i won't be managing the possibility to get two different Export Codes.

    Sometime ago I added my friends E mail (yyyyy) to the main Apple ID (xxxx) as for using his E mail account (to separate our e mail accounts, and it's working ok) but now when I try to create a new apple ID whith the same friend's e mail (yyyyyy) it says that his mail (yyyyy) is already an apple ID when the Apple ID is really my E mail (xxxxx).. any clue?

    I believe because you migrated from a Nokia to an iPhone you need to register the Bn phone number with your Apple ID so it can be used for iMessage. The Pn number seems to be the only one registered

    You can't use family sharing or multiple Apple IDs with iTunes match.
    ITunes match is only attached to Apple id that you used to subscribe.

    While Wayne's answer solves your problem, another possibility is to uncheck the box at the bottom of the Table inspector for 'Return key moves to next cell.' If that is unchecked, the return key types a paragraph return within the cell (the same as Option Return with the box checked).
    With that box unchecked, Shift Return types a soft return (new line without a paragraph break).

    2- Disaggregate from Segment Level to Model Level using APODPNDANT (a key figure in which the input is supplied from business)

    Ideally its better to have APODPDANT to be the disaggregation KF at all levels
    you can choose to manipulate the APODPDANT instead by making it an Editable Kf in the Planning book
    To start with all levels can be based on the proportional KF calculation
    By Loading the selections at the Segment to model level you can manually enter the values based on business input
    you might need some macors to fix the totals and maybe to make sure the Sales volume is redisaggregated
    i think its something that can be solved by a god business process and simple functionality in the way you see the data

    I really don't know DDE very well. It is usually recommended that you switch to using ActiveX. You may not be correctly configuring the netDDE server. There is an example in the reource library that shows how to do this. You may also want to look at the DDE advise examples that came with LabVIEW 5.1 and earlier.

  • The form I am creating is getting really complex because when different fields require different font treatments (bold, italic, different font size, different font) I have to create a seperate text box and get it to align with the others. This wouldn't be an issue in most cases but this form is really detailed and has many text boxes. Before I stuggle too much longer on it, I thought I would check and see if there is a way to make them all in the same text field. If not, perhaps I am trying to use Acrobat for something it is not meant for. Any recommendations on other programs I could use? Thanks

As soon as I tick the Rich Text Formatting box it automatically changes the appearance of the text in the field (Helvetica Light to something like Helvetica Heavy) I can't seem to get the font back to Helvetica light or change the font size while the Rich Text Formatting box is ticked.

    if you call the first redirect, the servlet is getting aborted, so you can redirect to the first servlet, working the stuff in it, and then in the second servlet you can redirect to the third servlet

  • I have a need to use Two boot images in the same task sequence. The reason is I'm deploying ZTI to McAfee encrypted devices which I have already done with McAfee v6 Encryption successfully.
    Here's where my problem comes in. We are about to deploy McAfee v7 which means we will have a mix of v6 and v7 in our environment. I must have two special Boot images one with v6 drivers and one with v7 drivers in order for my process to work. I don't see
    a way right now to assign more than one boot image to a task sequence. Is there any way to do this?
    If I can't do that then I will have to create two task sequences and target collections based on the Endpoint Encryption version to deploy to.
    If anyone has suggestions it would be much appreciated. Thank you

    Have you tested copying those files to %windir%system32drivers during the WinPE session (just enable commandline support to your boot image) to see if they need to be in there before the OS start? Test that and if they don't need to be there during the
    boot up of WinPE then:
    Create two packages (v6 and v7)
    'Run command line', use the package created earlier and just use 'copy /Y .*.* %windir%system32drivers' ..again, this should be run according to your needs, variable or some other check like I said

    You can have identical libraries (contents, playlists and related information) if you set each user's account to reference the same .itl file.
    Have a look at this article in the Apple Knowledge Base for details on how to do so.
    By using the Choose Library option and linking the accounts to the same .itl file, the libraries will be the same and changes made to one will be reflected in the others.
    If you don't want completely identical Libraries but just access to the same files to build separate Libraries with, see this article .

    Running the same applet in different browser windows
    (Netscape 4.72 - Plug-in 1.2.2) appears to use the same JVM. When I see the process list from the OS (Windows Task Manager) I see only one Netscape Process.
    This is causing me a lot of problems, because the applet opens a socket connection with the server.
    Since all applet instances running in different browser windows each one, are executing on the same JVM, all messages they send to the server goes through the SAME socket connection, turning the server in an inconsistent state.
    Is it possible to start a completly new browser
    process in order to have each applet instance running in a different JVM ?
